Left Behind
I folded up your clothes today
Caressing every shirt
I let the tears fall as they may
Not holding back the hurt
I held your watch so tenderly
Then slipped it in my drawer
I’ll take it out e’er now and then
And look at it some more
I had the bank remove your name

I can’t explain the anguish, as
I wipe you from my life
And now I am a widow, when
I used to be your wife
It feels like I’m erasing you
A little more each day
But in my heart, my darling love
You know you’ll always stay
And when my life on earth is o’er
And God doth call me home
We’ll be together once again
And joy shall be our own

It robs me of sleep
"This To Shall Pass"...
My Mother was so loving and caring
about her ten children. She was always
there for us. If we needed
