Sometimes setting up a wireless router can be complicated for non tech users. There are a several options before you start a process, and it's easy to make a small mistake. Fortunately, once you choose a router, both Windows and Sapido provide step-by-step process for setting up your Wi-Fi router. The good thing is setting up a Sapido wireless network in your home is relatively easy, requires minimal technical knowledge, and allows internet access from virtually anywhere in your home.   

Instructions: Set Up a Sapido Wireless Router

Decide on the Sapido router. There are a several wireless router offerings, and variety prices as well as features vary depending on the model. Choose the one that meets your needs and your price range.

Place the router by clearing a space. The router should be located in the most common area to reduce the distance and assure better connections. For example, it shouldn't be placed in the basement.

The product package should contain the following items:

• The wireless router

• Power adapter  

• Resource CD, including: manual

• Warranty and Support Information cards

If any of the parts are incorrect, missing, or damaged, contact your Sapido dealer. Keep the carton, including the original packing materials, in case you need to return the product for repair.

What is the default IP address and login username / password of RB-1232? The N+ Broadband Router default IP http://192.168.1.1 Default Username & Password: admin& admin.

Why does my computer fail to connect to RB-1232's wireless LAN?  Ensure the IP address of the PC's wireless Network card is automatically assigned. (DHCP)

How to upgrade firmware of RB-1232?

 Step 1: New firmware can be downloaded from Download Center of SAPIDO Website.

Step 2: Please login to GUI web interface as administrator, and select “System Management” → “Firmware Upgrade”.

Click Browser and point to the new firmware file. Click Upload to upgrade the firmware. Please do not change to other page or run other programs before Reboot completed, otherwise, firmware upgrade would be interrupted.

Setting Up Sapido router  step by step:

GUI Login : Open a Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari browser, and enter http://192.168.1.1 (Default Gateway) into browser’s blank.

Homepage:

The default values for User Name and Password are admin (all in lowercase letters). Click Login to enter.

 My Network Places Login : The default UPnP of N+ Broadband Router is enabled. When users connect N+ Broadband Router to their PC, UPnP icon will show up in the right bottom tool bar of OS.

Click My Network Places to open the web GUI by clicking on SAPIDO_RB-1232 icon.

Follow the directions and provide authentication information.

Connect more clients. At this point, clients should be able to connect and access the Internet.

Simply follow the instructions and enjoy your wireless router.
