Valentine’s Day gifts that come from the heart are more memorable and significant to give than most purchased manufactured gifts. While homemade gifts are also from the heart, there are a few gifts that do not cost money or cost very little money. These types of gifts are meaningful and personal. Give Time
Ask any woman, and they can tell you which part of housecleaning they dread the most. A wonderful gift to give her is time. Consider cleaning a room for her - one she dreads. Women can also give their time to their significant other. Parents can give their time to their children. Consider what you can do for those special people in your life, by simply doing something physical for them. A teenager can give parents a gift from the heart, by simply making a pot of coffee before his/her parents wake up. Making coffee with love is definitely from the heart. By giving time to someone special, you are giving them a break to relax and enjoy the moment, day or week, and you are making them feel special.
Write
Give someone special a gift from the heart, by writing a letter, poem or memory, and giving it to him/her. The only cost involved in this gift, is paper, a writing tool, and time. Write what comes from your heart and it will surely be treasured. If you still prefer to give something, but do not enjoy writing, consider making a homemade Valentine’s Day card. Write an inspirational quote on a smaller piece of paper or recycled paper, and place it in your loved ones car, on the bathroom mirror, in their dresser drawers, or any where he/she will find it. Copy family recipes onto a CD, or hand write recipes, and give a “family cookbook” to someone special.
Make Music
Sing to someone special, record a song, or even write a song as a gift from the heart. If you play a musical instrument, but do not wish to sing, consider playing a musical piece, recording it, or even creating your own musical piece. Singing and playing instruments express meaningful gift giving. If you do cannot sing or do not play an instrument, consider creating a musical CD that contains memorable songs from available sources.
Make a Video
Create a unique video of yourself, speaking to your loved one. This is a gift that comes from the heart, and is not limited to boyfriend and girlfriend. Grandparents
