Heartstrings
Hearts hold strings
In time that change
They bind and restrain
But meant only to protect
And to guide and hold us near
Release them and reach to remember
the soft whispers, the romantic glances,
Feel those flutters of the heart again
Filled with the strings of Love
That time tried to change.
