Getting Over the Hard Times
We know that everyone has them and everyone will as long as there is life and breath within your body. Hard times. They are the struggles and the challenges that we face each and everyday that either toughen us up or tear us down.
Every day it’s a new set of challenges and every day a new set of tests. Most of us just take them with a grain of salt and move on but for some it’s not that easy. There are some of us who take everything into ourselves. We pick up on almost everything and we sometimes take those things into us and keep them instead of working through them, helping the other person to work through them and then let them go.
Every fiber of our existence is connected, mind, body and spirit. Negative thoughts and emotions not only affect our mental health but they also affect us physically and spiritually. When we take on these negative emotions, whether we pick them up from others or whether we’re having the drama personally we have to work through them and then let them go. To hold on to them only keeps the negative or destructive vibration attached to us and that in turn begins the slow and agonizing process of eating us alive.
How do we get over the hard times? How do we process and move on from the challenges and tests. We develop a plan, an answer key, a common thread to what needs to be done. Once we have designed our game plan we put it into action.
Steps to overcoming hard times:
Have and keep a positive attitude with positive affirmations of faith and hope.
Have and keep a journal of each day and how you progress with defeating the issue.
Have and keep a warm and happy thought that you can grasp quickly and present to others.
Have and keep a positive and respectful regard for yourself and others.
Now your ready to begin the next step.
Establish your game plan: Look at the obstacle from both sides, pro and con and create your plan of attack with positive goals and positive affirmations to give it substance.
Focus: Focus on the goal at hand, which is to work through the difficult situation and have a positive outcome. Focus on what you, the individual has to do and what it will take to get your message across to others who might be involved.
Steady the path and keep a firm grasp of the situation: Others will try to sway you from the path and confuse you on keeping your goals in sight. Don’t allow this to happen. Remember your positive affirmations and remember you are in control.
We each drive the vessel that carries our soul and we each have control over where it goes. We are in the drivers seat when it comes to over coming the demons, the tests, and the challenges we face each day and we determine if we stop, go or crash.
