Beauty is on The Outside

David Smith, a professor of  Darwinian Studies at Princeton University, never thought he'd meet the woman of his dreams, or even nightmares for that matter.  Now thirty years old, he was convinced that love had bypassed him altogether; nonetheless, he was still determined to find his soul mate at any cost.  He was average looking and, as it's oftentimes the case with average looking people; he wanted the best looking woman under the sun to fall in love with him and, nothing else would do.  Of course, he kept his options open.  Even though he was an atheist, he went to church every Sunday, and when asked, he'd tell people the only reason he taught Darwinism was because of the money.  One day, he meet a Chinese man who believed ardently in Confucianism; the man got the laugh of his lifetime when he found out that David was a Protestant who taught Darwinism for a pay check...the man didn't buy David's story.

One Valentine's day, David decides he's going to meet someone.  However, instead of pursuing his usual suspects, he decides to go to a nearby park and attempt to meet someone ugly; because he says, ugly women are much easily persuade than good looking ones....

...Now at the park, he commences his quest.  He approaches the ugliest woman he can find in the park, in the hopes of "getting a hit."  "Hello," David says to a woman sitting alone on a park beach.  David strikes a up a conversation with this lady to see if she'll take the bait.  After he talks up a storm, she finally gives him a piece of her mind.  ..."You started talking to me, on the premise that because I'm ugly, I would be an easy quarry.  Dear sir, you are not my type, for you see; just like you, I'm also looking for a handsome individual to hook up with, so leave me alone and be on your way."

...David now approaches a women, who, although is more attractive than his first attempt at conquest, still leaves a great deal to be desired.  The woman responds to him in an almost identical fashion than the first one did.  "You're not my type dear sir.  Now, go on your way and let me be, for I'm not the least bit interested in a nerd such as yourself."

...David now approaches a very beautiful woman, so much so; she's one of the best looking woman he has ever seeing in his life.  "Are those tacos from Mr. Ramon's Taco Shop?" he asks her.  "Why yes-yes they are," she replies back to David.  "I thought I was the only one that liked that little whole in the wall," he said.  "Oh no,  I love his tacos too"; I love Mexican food,"  the lovely lady responds back to David.  "Would you like to go out on a date with me?  I know this place that makes even better tasting tacos than Mr. Ramon does," David asks the lady on a date and she accepts.  David was puzzled to see that the least likely suspect returned his affection.  David remembered a saying his grandfather told him once: "Beauty is always on the outside"....
