Mak and Pettie have been married for 6 years.The couple have been through every rough patch imaginably possible and some more, they have learnt to love and support each other no matter what the cost. Mak was hospitalized with pneumonia, he was hanging on to dear life for a longtime and as soon as he got out he made his mind to spend every second with his wife, to spoil her, love and care for her no matter what happens. Pettie had been cheating on Mak while he was in hospital, she had even packed her bags and moved out before he was back. To Mak, he was not going to be an agent of hate, he was going to love and support her and his two kids no matter what she did, life was just that important to him now that he almost passed away due to the pneumonia. On the day he was returning home from hospital no one was there to meet him, Pettie and the kids were with Petties new boyfriend having fun in the park.

Pettie had custody of the kids and possession of the house and cars, the only thing he was able to get was his bike which he used for work, he had a one bedroom condo which he now called home. Every month Zak sent his wife and kids a gift basket and tickets to a sporting event in the City, he never missed a month and he wrote the same message each and every month which read "I might not be there with you but I am always here for you, love you guys no matter what the task or distance" One day Mak came home to find divorce papers waiting for him in the mail and he called Pettie to discuss

Pettie picked up the phone with an attitude and says " what the hell do you want, I am trying to get the kids to eat this is not time to be calling"

Mak - Sorry, when can I call you back?

Pettie - Never if I can have it my way but I know that will not work as you have to talk to your kids, what do you want?

Mak - Just to discuss (Pettie interrupts him, "discuss what? what did you not understand about those papers you got)

Mak - I understood perfectly well, just wanted to let you know that I have transferred all my money to the boys, I have changed the title deeds of the rental homes to the boys and I have signed over everything I ever had to them because if you are having them as you have indicated here I will not fight you. I want the best for you guys and so I give you my blessing, my money and all my love, take care of them, all I ask is that I can visit them as much as I can.

Pettie - laughing in a loud voice she answers him " If you think that guilty trip will make me change
