My love for her, can I describe it?
It’s not the shallow fleeting kind
It’s solid, rich, and ever deepening
It just gets better over time
When others give up, she believes
When others tire, she works on
Warmth fills each room she leaves
And in the air floats her song

These things don’t tempt her to be blue
She showers me still with her kisses
So let the wild men have their parties
I will not sit at home and pine
I’ll cuddle with my aged lover
Unearthing treasures yet to find
