My memories flood my eyes
I think of you and I don't get it
I know the truth
I know this happens
And yet I'm afraid
I cry for you everyday
They say it'll get better
But does this pain ever go away
All I do is think about why you left
Why you
Why wasn't I blessed with wisdom to see
What was in store for you
For me
Why can't I stop all the thought
The thoughts of things I still need to say
Why can't I have back yesterday
Why can't we smile and laugh
Why does this hurt so bad
Why can't I see my dad
Why can't he hold my hand
Why God Why
I know the truth
We will be together again
But I can't take the pain
The waiting begins
Until I'm back in your arms
Until I'm back in your arms
