From across the room your eyes meet mine.
Is it love at first sight, you give no sign.
You seem interested, yet shy away.
Is there something you're hiding, who's to say?
Have you heard too many empty promises and lies?
Keeping you from getting close to anyone who tries.
Does your soul bare scars you'd rather forget?
How many have hurt you without regret?
Do you lack the trust to give your heart?
Does the pain of your past tear you apart?
I slowly approach and gently caress your face.
Wishing all your bad memories, a touch would erase.
An instant connection I feel inside.
Your mutual feelings you cannot hide.
Come home with me, "be mine," I say.
Your tail wags as we walk away.

Be mine
As I said, the red wine wouldn't taste the same
Nor does these avid eyes, who lurk to look again
Be mine
by Ted Onulak
Be mine
And I will find a way
To deceive unblinking time
Stealing softly past
Its watchful eye,
And unlock eternal bliss
Be mine
Would you be mine if I asked?
My love for you can not be surpassed
I want you for my very own
I don’t want to live
In the old orphan house
at the end of the lane
they're collected together
again and again,
Unfortunate souls
full of heartache
by Moeze Lalji
Be mine
I can't deny
The words of
My eyes
The world
Has many guys
Around you
My request is
Only what
My heart speaks
I can't punch
