Guide to the parks in and around Klamath Falls

The views in Klamath Falls, Oregon are simply breathtaking. There are so many unspoiled views that a person can’t help but take in the serenity. Luckily, Klamath Falls has several parks in which someone can appreciate these views. They also have a few community parks which are great for recreation and family.

During the summer, Integral Youth Services of Klamath Falls provides a free summer lunch for kids and teens at certain parks during various times. This is one way they are working to be sure each child has a meal during the summer. Some children only eat lunch when school is in session. Moore Park is the pride of Klamath Falls. Regardless of your outdoor recreation preferences, Moore Park is sure to have something to accommodate you. Located at 684 Lakeshore Drive, this park has boundless hiking trails, camping, and picnic areas. Enjoy sports? Try playing soccer on their soccer fields, tennis on one of their tennis courts, or a game of volleyball with friends on one of their volleyball courts. Allow the children to let loose and play in Moore Park’s play area. The community truly utilizes this park for company gathering, scouting events, and much more. Integral Youth Services of Klamath Falls visits from 12:15pm to 12:45pm during the summer months.

Kit Carson Park is located parallel to Klamath Falls Main Highway and is a great place for picnics. It even has a pavilion so despite the weather there is shelter for your outdoor meal plans. There are also softball fields, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and ample parking. Children enjoy the use of their playground equipment as well. Integral Youth Services of Klamath Falls serves meals between 12:00pm and 12:15pm.

Conger Park, another favorite of Klamath Falls, is leased to the school system by the city but is open for the public to use. On these 10.6 acres you will find soccer fields and softball fields. There are walking but they aren’t marked. You will have to navigate on your own.  This is another park Integral Youth Services of Klamath Falls visits to provide free meals during the summer. The time for this park is 11:45am to 12:00pm.

For those who enjoy playing basketball, consider visiting Krause Park. It is located on the corner of Hanks and Bly Street. This is a newer park in Klamath Falls, Oregon and is funded by a local business. Not only will you find basketball courts, but soccer fields, a children’s playground,
