I started going bald at the young age of 25 and I have to admit, at first I was a bit discouraged, but as with anything it life, it's what you make of it that means anything. I knew I was going to go bald at some point in life when I saw how my uncles all went bald, so I decided early on that there is really no point in trying to fight it - just embrace it.
The thing that discourages me these days is to hear about guys that think their life is ruined because they are balding. This is far from the truth! It also discourages me when guys think that they don't have the right shaped head to shave their head and embrace their baldness, yet they never try it out. Instead they spend much of their time trying to fix their hair (what's left of it) in a way that will cover up their bald spot, yet everyone knows they are going bald. Or even worse, they will spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on products or surgeries to "restore" hair only to find out that they don't work.
I'm not trying to say everyone should shave their head, but if you are having a true confidence issue with your balding head, you should give it a try. Every guy that comes to my site SlyBaldGuys.com and says that they are struggling with shaving their baldness is instantly relieved with the situation when they shave their head. It's the one thing they can do to truly take control of the situation. So, give it a shot! If you don't like it, you can always grow it out to what you have now.
