Poetry: Inside my purse

by Eileen Montleon

Created on: January 31, 2011

Inside My purse

is like no other

Small in size

but bulged with bother

Full with things I do not know

I am afraid sometimes how it grows

Receipts galore

from shopping all the stores

Ask me if I would change a thing

I wouldn't my purse would be shocked

and may start to sing

There is an idea never thought

a new purse must be bought

In order to get on through this mess

I must start emptying on my desk

I am sure i will find all that's been lost

I will do it no matter what it cost

just to be happy with a fresh new start

I believe this act will make me very smart

So thank you for this subject I wrote

I will get to work and will not dote
