Republican speculation on the end of the war in Iraq

by Lou Rountree

Created on: January 30, 2011

The end of the war in Iraq was officially declared and is now history. Before that time the political mechanics to enter the war were laid down by the US Congress, The President and the ever watchful eye of The Supreme Court included the careful design of how to tell when the war had ended. This was to avoid extended engagement of US and allied troops and begin a move to a more Democratic government for Iraq. Careful consideration of the results of the war for the US, the Mideast and the countries of the UN also has to recall that it was under UN law that the need for war with Iraq was a necessity. Despite the political nature of Mission Accomplished being assigned the meaning of a misnomer when President George W. Bush used it to congratulate our troops, anti war propaganda used it to their political advantage. Some conservatives feel that our military is being exploited from within our government at the great cost of lives.

Currently with the passing of each day the Obama Administration, with the complicity of the Liberal media and the US Congressional Liberals are busy with domestic economy payoffs to the Union hierarchy and the real rich in the US, government employees and Wall Street manipulators of money and power, ignores the Foreign Policy needed to keep Iraq a Democratic government. Iran is allowed to proceed against UN sanctions; Russia gets the major concession of our not proceeding with the Missile Defense System in Europe. Additionally, Kim IL Jung fires missiles on our ally, South Korea, Osama and Hillary insult Israel, another of
