Every person will experience psychic phenomena in a different way. You may be saying "I've never experienced anything psychic", but if you can relate to any of the information in this piece then you have experienced the psychic phenomenon.

The "I don't know why" Scenarios:

"Something told me not to take that road", "I don't know why, but I just felt like it was a bad idea, so I didn't go into the bank", or "I thought I heard someone call out my name, but by the time I stopped and looked no one was there". These are all examples of everyday occurrences with one common theme in mind, something was telling you not go into a particular situation.

Some call it gut instinct, some dismiss it as coincidence, while others will assume a spirit guide or angel helped them avoid the situation. When people begin to reflect on what has happened, especially when they avoided being part of a robbery or accident, they begin by examining all the "realistic possibilities". After exhausting all those possibilities, when left with the situation, the individual may turn to the possibility of it being a result of a psychic occurrence.

The "I've been here before" Scenarios:

Have you ever found yourself saying "I've been here before", "this happened to me before" or "I could have sworn that we did this before", yet felt that you hadn't? This is a phenomenon called deja vu and most people dismiss it out of hand. The truth is that you are tapping into a previous life where you did have the experience. Even though this is in the past it is still considered part of the psychic phenomena.

The "Messages from Beyond" Scenarios:

Did you ever have a dream that seemed so real that you could swear it was really happening? Ever awaken from a deep sleep and believe that you saw someone at your beside, and he or she were trying to communicate with you?

This is another piece of the psychic puzzle. When you experience these things you are often communicating with people who are deceased. They may not know they are dead or they know but they want to get a message to love ones.

The "Did I just see that" Scenarios:

Have you ever been seen something move out of the corner or your eye, only to have it disappear when you turn to look at it? Sometimes this is a ghost, sometimes a spirit guide, an angel, or even an imprint from the past. These are all part of the phenomena.

How do you deal with it?

This is a difficult question to answer, but I would suggest that you first sit down and evaluate what you have just experienced. If it can be explained logically then you probably don't need to go any further than that, but if it isn't explicable you may want to do some of the following:

1. Surround yourself in white light.
2. Picture a wall around yourself, one that would protect you from intruders.
3. Ask for protection from God, Allah, or whoever you believe in.
4. Write your thoughts in a journal.
5. Explore books or websites for information.
6. Talk to others who are unlikely to judge you.

Most importantly - remember that you want to accept the gifts you are given as part of the psychic phenomena. If it is too much for you right now ask for it to be given to you in smaller pieces.
