A New York Neighborhood Guide: Manhattan Upper East Side

New York Neighborhood life on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is filled with good food, great places to live and even better shopping. Below is a list of my favorite places to live life to the fullest and to enjoy all this amazing area has to offer:

For a delicious meal, consider Elaine’s which is one of the best Upper East Side Restaurants and has been a staple in the neighborhood since 1963. With its classic Italian/European fare, this restaurant is best known as much for the linguine with clam sauce as for its celebrity sightings. In 2004, the publication “Everyone Comes to Elaine’s” recounts the heyday of this upper-crust eatery. Owner Elaine Kaufman still tends to guests. You never know who will walk through the door.

Renting a beautiful on Manhattan;s Upper East Side is easy. You’ll love all the amenities and the prestige that comes from having an exclusive Upper East Side address. Great neighborhood amenities make it the perfect place to call home. With nearby Carl Schurz Park and the sparkling Hudson waters as a backdrop, your options for spending the day are endless and filled with variety.

Shop Till You Drop

Shopping holds endless possibilities in this exclusive Upper East Side New York neighborhood.

You’re within some of the best interior design stores imaginable, including Johnathan Adler.  Combining organic shapes with geometric, playful patterns, the end result will ensure you have a place you’ll love coming home to.

A hidden treasure on the upper east side of Manhattan is BIS Designer Resale, where you can find gently-owned designer treasures from Chanel, Hermes, Prada and Gucci, to name a few. High-end clothing and accessories from the world’s top designers come straight from the runways and closets of fabulous New York City women.

Carl Schurz Park is the ultimate park with a view. With wide expanses of green grass, a shady playground for the kiddies to blow off steam and four fountains to add just the right touch of ambiance…not to mention a great place to cool down on a hot summer’s day,  this park has it all. As neighbor to the famed Gracie Mansion…and with a lovely boardwalk on the East River, it’s a favorite amongst residents of the Upper East Side.

No matter which option you choose for shopping, dining or decorating your new digs, life in your New York neighborhood of Manhattan’s Upper East Side is sure to provide you with some amazing opportunities for play, dining and living life to the fullest…taking full advantage of all this incredible city has to offer.
