The intelligence of Man, continues to grow
Searching for answers to what they don't know
Science explains through theory and fact
The creation of all, billions of years back
These intelligent minds dismiss any Hell
And scoff the existence of Heaven as well
The Bible they say lacks solid proof
A book not regarded as something of truth
Some say we emerged from out of the sea
From a fish to a man- we soon came to be
Others insist there's no escape
That our early existence was that of an ape
These intelligent men from His Word do refrain
But then they stop short- and can never explain
The reason why this great world does exist
Creation by God, is quickly dismissed
They'll accept an explosion in outer space
Created our world and all that's in place
An accidental blast that they can't explain
Nor from where all of humanity came
It has to make sense, or it won't be believed
But our Father on high, says, "Be not deceived"
Miracles and science cannot be intertwined
And I fear in the end, these smart men will find
That God, unlike mortals, cannot be explained
And man’s driving quest is done but in vain
Yet he persists, all these answers to find
For faith has no place in his intelligent mind

Or lock you in a prison of letters,
