Can We Trust Ministers?
A tough question, however; if you apply the laws of human psychology as you would to any other “human being”, the answer is relatively quite simple. No! One must remember that a Minister is no different to anyone else having any other vocation.
Ministers, whether male or female are just as open to sin as anyone else, with the normal level of human desire as the rest of society. In no way are they set apart from common society. Like ourselves, who are not Ministers, they have human faults in their makeup, only God is perfect!
One who may be foolish enough to believe a Minister can be trusted more or less than any other person in their life is a sure recipe to human disaster. All-ready (for society), Ministers, Priests, Nuns, etc., have been fully exposed, named and shamed in the public eye by majority. I believe, one of the greatest human tragedies on earth! To discover God's House has been used for little more than a shelter for Satan and the evil it has delivered to the innocent by majority is mortifying. Religion, not Christianity can be found in the Church, and largely including each of it's Clergy Members, irrespective of post or position within it.
What does set a Minister apart from “religious” society is determined largely by his or her level of devotion and dedication to the Holy Spirit. In other words, we can all be Ministers of God's Word, we don't need a piece of paper or a cloak to declare we can Administer the Word of God. However; we do need a pure heart with pure thought that lends itself to “other” people. Thus, by example, as many experience in their own lifetime at some stage, there is always a question of “trust”. Trust is “earned”, it is NOT a God-given right of a Minister or anyone else. Even God allows us the grace of “earning” our trust, He (God), does not simply demand we take His Word. We are offered the opportunity to have a relationship with God and determine for ourselves whether or not we place our trust in Him. Thus, if God is NOT exempt, then one can safely assume, no man nor woman is either!. We as human beings are to discern the level of trust we are to place in anyone, guided by not only the Holy Spirit that lives within, but also by “human reasoning” and logic. This is “free will”, our decision to “choose” in whom we place our trust once “earned”, and something even God must abide
