Just pause a moment
And wonder if you can
The destruction of our earth
By our fellow man.
What is it that we want
What is it that we need
That is important enough
To disregard mankind regardless of our creed.
To take the soul of our planet
To rape to pillage to plunder
And take the essence of the planet
And destroy without thought the gifts of wonder.
Too late we take the time
To reflect on what we've done
And attempt to stop the demise
Of what was once our planet earth.
