Icicles sparkling in magical night
Winter in the forest under moonlight
A trail appears that wasn't there before
And then two enchanted, mahogany doors
Full of wonder with amazement in my heart
The mystical doors begin to part
So I enter this magnificent place
Pure joy registers on my face
Elves are playing a harpist's tune
Fairies spin gold upon a loom
An angel's chorus pierces the night
And up above is a rainbow of light
I don't know why I am allowed to see
Or if this is just a dream that resides in me
If I am asleep, don't let me wake yet
For that is the worst surprise I could get
I love it here; I don't want to leave
As a calm wind ruffles up my sleeves.
