You are everything I am and have grown into all I want to be
From the moment you came home little one
Close to me you would always be
I waited for you and counted the days
To when you would arrive
From the start, you were already a part
You are a part of my heart, you see
I waited for you and counted the days
To when you would be with me
I think of you and smile
I look at you and love
Your eyes shine, your smile glows
You are everything I am and have grown into all I want to be
You make me proud
You make me calm
You make my heart alive
Because of you, I am who I am
You are a most important part of me

our favorite flavor

Little Sister
She is the younger me
The lively one of the pack
The fun one I used to be
She is the attention getter

Karen and Jo, one August born and the other, a September birth
One grows up wanting to be heard, 'I want to do things my
I try to catch her, I try and try.
And yet it seems I cannot fly.
My wings pinned down, the strings attached.
I tug for freedom

A Sister's Love
A mysterious thing
but not a guarantee
is a sister's love
when it's grown from seed
A wondrous beginning
