9/11...a day that changed America, the visions of which will forever be burned in my mind as it will be for many. Our President, whom took 7 minutes to react to the news, and not with surprise I might add, declaring a war on terror. Bin Ladin labeled as a depraved holy man and the leader of the Al Quida, our mortal enemy. Bush promising America that he would be found, and justice served. After flying the Bin Ladin's out of the country that night (9/11) on Air Force One, ( am I the only one that has a problem with this?) he called a meeting of the United Nations and brought the majority of the WORLD together to help fight this war on terror and Bin Ladin.
Fast forward 5 plus years....we are at war not with Afganastan but with Iraq, Bin Ladin is out there somewhere probably planning his next attack (with our Presidents help?) but damnit we took down old Hussain didn't we? And in doing so essentially took over one of the most oil rich countries in the world. Did I mention that it was the Bin Ladins that financed Bush Jr's first oil company? So we are at war in IRAQ, losing AMERICAN troops by the THOUSANDS, (and Bush calling for another 8200 troops), and I ask you, HAVE WE NOT LOST SIGHT OF THE REASON FOR HE SEASON? Rarely is Bin Ladin name mentioned in the media, nor has it been for years now.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO "OUR" WAR ON TERROR? We were suppose to go in, take out Bin Ladin, not Suddam. (Hussain hadn't been in the spotlight for the past 10 years, back around the time DADDY Bush was in office).
Why is noone questioning this FACT?
The War on terror has nothing to do with terror or terrorists, it has EVERYTHING however to do with OIL...and now tht we essentially OWN Iraq we are seeing gas prices higher than ever before.
What if not everything is wrong with this picture? What about 9/11? Have we become so complacent in our cushy lives here in America that we have forgotten all the lives lost that day and all of the days that have followed since we began the war on terror?
WE have forgotten 9/11 and the reason for the war in the first place. Our objective, Bin Ladin has all but faded away into obscurity while our troops fight not terror but for OIL.
WAKE UP AMERICA. ARE WE ARE NOT SHEEP BEING SHEPARDED BY NOTHING BUT A CLEVERLY DISGUISED WOLF? WHAT OF THE REASON? REMEMBER 9/11.
