What it is
This day in the past,
when I opened my eyes,
saying 'hello',
to what would not last.
Ability of brain,
to make its own choice,
sanity of soul,
obeying the voice.
Vision and thought,
leading me to my core,
safe and secure,
on my way to war.
Can't find my way,
affected by own mind,
fighting the age,
lagging life behind.
Far away from sane,
I try to hold time,
till I find myself,
and end all the crime.
Distant from peace,
remote from sleep,
unable to rest,
upon the craving weep.
The path I found,
seems so gory and wrong,
the devil's sound,
and I sing along.
Unable in the heart,
to go for the life,
too many decisions,
but I cannot strive.
One wrong step,
will lead me astray,
and God won't listen,
next time I pray.
It's the human toxic,
the idea of thought,
in this confusing world,
I am hopelessly caught.
I am maybe looking in life,
for what's only in death,
I lose connection,
to my own breath.
Knowing too well,
that I cannot be,
more than I am,
the person who's 'me'
My way I am dying for,
to discover the thread,
live in peace with myself,
without being afraid.
Union of foes,
heart and soul embrace,
holding hands on the path,
to immortal trace.

Shadows of the night
Somewhere in a distant dream,
stood two shadows of the night.
At the edge of split perception,
being bathed
Absent light
Stains on a wall
Take human form
But twist, Distort
They move and dance
But have no life
Hollow imposters
Shadows in the Night
Shadows haunting in the night.
Playing games in the moonlight.
Keeping all the shapes I see
Deep within
As I gaze into the light of night
Shadows emerge upon my sight
Some bring thoughts of sheer delight
Some are scary in gruesome

Shadow Tag - A Childhood Memory
Whispers of footsteps cross my grassy path,
As I kneel in the shadows in the full moonlight.
