"Who is she?" you ask yourself as she saunters by.
Her raven hair cascades down her back, swaying as she moves.
The fragrance of white gardenias drift behind her.
But how has she managed to captivate you?
You can't help but watch her as she talks,
as her companion makes her laugh.
It is the sound of something else you can't pin-point.
That reaction, you're moved to have.
Her eyes sparkle with excitement
as they make some type of plans.
She seems giddy, a bit elated.
Quite the way you look in your trance.
Her voice is soft, but you hear every word.
Her speech is somewhat refreshing.
Your heart loves to hear her enchanting voice,
Even if you aren't whom she's addressing.
But who is she? And who are you?
Can she ever show any interest?
Possibly? Maybe? Perhaps she will.
Now your mind has caught distress.
She appears to have a few suitors,
Vying to win her heart.
Can you win her over, though?
And when is it you will start?
You hear her faintly saying her goodbyes,
Kissing some on their cheek.
From across the room, you meet her eyes,
And your chest flutters you weak.
She shyly gives you a smile.
Your cheeks feel a little roguish.
Before you can move or mutter,
She has now vanished.
You'll see her again, this you know.
But will you be able to speak?
Maybe she just wants you to show
That she has made you a little meek.
