High Prices Everywhere
High prices are everywhere
It makes me want to cry, "Oh dear!"
Gas especially cost the most,
A lot of cars are starting to coast.
At the grocery store the cost of everything has gone sky high.
As I buy milk for five dollars, I give a sad sigh.
It's mostly things we vitally need,
the government is making its country bleed.
Bleed, as in going broke,
sort of means to kill us folk.
So please, please help us out,
"We can't afford it!" is what we shout.
