Poetry: Sunglasses

by Adai Goldberg

Created on: January 16, 2011

Concealing the eyes of the curious,

Protecting baby blues from the sun,

Dark haired italians strut across the piazza,

as if saying, ''I am the one!''

It takes a while

till you learn,

the real purpose behind the shades on girls and guys,

When you buy a pair yourself, to hide from the prying eyes.
