Backlinking should form the foundation of your SEO efforts, so knowing how to get backlinks in volume and in quality is essential to getting your website found and well-rated by the search engines, which means more traffic, and ultimately, more conversions. So, how do you get good backlinks? It's easier than you might think, and there are a number of options to choose from.
Blogging
Blogging is the quickest and easiest way to get a good-quality backlink; you only need to write a quick post about the website you want a link to, and add in the link either in the text of the post, or at the end. If you have a few sites in the same niche and you can update your blog with other content relevant to that niche, you'll add to the power of each of those backlinks by having your site linked from another targeted site.
A variation on this could be in submitting articles about your site to Triond. Triond is basically a super-blog, with thousands of authors writing to more than a dozen niche blogs. It means that you have an instantly relevant place to post a brief write-up and a link, and can add a quality backlink to your list quickly and easily. You can even earn a little revenue doing it, though you shouldn't expect it to be much, every little helps.
Building Micro-sites

These two places will allow you to build something of a mini-site, where you can link out to your website, blog, or wherever else you like. It gives you more freedom and flexibility than a standard blog post, and has a little more weight with the search engines by default. Again, there are earning opportunities with both of these websites as well, if you're up for a nice little bonus.
Article Writing
Repeated ad nauseum, but only because it's true, writing an article (or having one written for you) and submitting it to an article directory is a good way to get at least one backlink, and potentially a lot more if your article is picked up by a website or e-newsletter.
Blog Commenting
Commenting on a relevant, established blog can be a very good source of backlinks. Check to be sure that comments aren't nofollow (you can look at the source to see if there's 'nofollow' anywhere in the code – if there is, and you don't know how to tell what's been marked as nofollow, just move on to the next blog) make your comment relevant and make sure it adds to the discussion, and instead of
