Teen fashion: How to get Ashlee Simpson's style for less

Falling Fall Fashion

Fall clothing is some of the most expensive and fashionable clothing you can add to your wardrobe. Fall clothing drags itself into the winter with addition of a few accessories, i.e. Hats, Scarves, Jackets, and that is the whole point of these two seasons. Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize.

Some of the earlier comments of fall have been “throw out that summer style!” One rule I modified is sandals: a natural looking sandal, leather and cloth, is definitely allowed moderately. Whenever you have a style it helps to have the attitude to go with it. Wearing a sandal in fall: what statement are you making? “I hate winter”, most likely.

Besides the obvious color choices (darker shades and washed out colors) and the even more obvious (one plaid or striped item only – and don’t combine!), there is one rule that not everyone follows: no white. Honestly? I don’t follow this rule around the house, and even going outside I may “forget” but that shows laziness and pure distaste. Fashion has a reason, and if you’ll notice, even reaching for the white becomes a hesitation in these winter months. If I had my hand on this article earlier I may have been afforded the comfort of a few extra undershirts in a color variety for the fall.

Fashionable accessories for the recession based fashionista are simple and fun to use. If you can’t afford food or can’t afford to help those who can’t afford food, here are some tips:

Accessories that I use from the dollar store are key chains for my shoes, bags, and keys! Duh! But also plastic’s. If you can’t invest in gold bangles or bracelets buy plastic ones, cheap! If you feel like it’s tacky, at least you’re wearing something to match your color scheme for the day. It’s true that you want people to notice you’re whole body, and like are you are a masterpiece. Dress with color and flare, and this will surely be both.

Shop where the price’s count. It’s attitude that sells your style, so do what you can, but don’t forget to accept limits. If you’re limited to shopping at Wal-Mart and K-Mart, it’s okay! These stores have started carrying much more stylish clothes, things that look almost like Ed Hardy or True Religion. Being on a budget means it’s time to downsize where you shop, especially if you still want to have some money for swimsuit season!

Consider patch work, and beading. Putting things like buttons on the thigh of your jean could really impress someone, don’t tell your secret, but you’ll be noticed for being unique and fashion forward. Always look and feel hip, even if you can’t afford it! Keep up the hard work and remember that the recession doesn’t have to be a reason for depression as long as you dress for the way things are. Piece things together using raw materials and use your imagination.
