Poetry: Immortality

by Tony Gomes

Created on: January 10, 2011

As I stood in front of the morbid mirror

Again enduring doing the "cry"

To see how bereaved myself looked

From the life once endured

To the one outweighed with joy

Showered with resilience

And clothe with love

To life contained even after death

Farewell all the woes of my endurance

Perfectly obtuse in obstruction

Aware that with freewill also follow destruction

The key to happiness is with the stars

That opens up skies heart into dimension anew

Where the color of love wore is transparent

Nonetheless gives us the blues

It hold our bond together like igloo

Furthermore the peace is restored

And today looks promising

May it be known true or rhetorical tues

"The lion will eat straw just like the bulls"

Bequeath vexation unruly from beneath

The corky hell"o" to earth

To angels halo possessions yearn in heavens

This I, immortal amongst mortals

"I walk the line" of segregation between life and death

Travel the earth expand beyond horizon

For the universe there for us

Therefore knows no limitation
