Trouble is always there looming around the corner
To remind you that life is never too good to be true
Daily are the reminders
And the glimpses of hope are far and in between
Hanging onto those hopes are struggles in themselves
Foolish though it seems that the troubles are relished
To create the hopes that lead to days that are filled with moments
Of being 'too good to be true'
Those moments are received
In a grateful manner
For it is better to have those than none at all.
