Don't wait till its too late

I see my dad in the ocean, and in the sand as the waves crash.

I see my dad in the sky,and in the clouds as the green flash.

I see the way that I have changed, ever since that sunny day.

And the person that I blamed, always told me he'd pass away.

I see my dad in my children's laughter, In there smiles and good byes.

I see my dad when there sad as a tear rolling down from there eye's.

I see the way I hated life, because death will always be.

So for all this time I survived, death was apart me.

I see my dad in my sisters movement, and in my brothers conserving ways.

I see my dad in my mother's spirit,as she decorates his display.

I know now what my dad was trying to tell me there's a time to work and a time to play.

But I guess he forgot to tell me there's a time to leave and a time to stay.

And maybe he is waiting for me besides god at heavens gate.

I know now what my dad was trying to tell me when he said don't wait till its to late.
