If God is omnipotent (and God is); and for this reason (being omnipotent) God would also have to be immutable (and God is), then it is impossible for “God” to have an enemy… for nothing can otherwise render God powerless. If anyone “believes” God has an enemy, then they do not “know” God. Anyone who believes they can change what is omnipotent is not only insane, but an enemy of their own self….only!
The devil, (…and there is no need to capitalize the “d” here, as the devil is not worthy of such respect, awe, or distinction) is ONLY an enemy of the devil! Any “man” (to be politically correct this is a generalization) who “believes” the devil has “the power to do” anything does not “know” the truth. This man has given the devil power over himself simply by choosing to believe the devil has such power. Thus the devil becomes the enemy of the one who chooses to believe the devil has this power… for it is “entirely” the free will choice of the believer to believe what he will believe.
For this reason Jesus called to Peter “to climb out of the boat and walk on water” (Mt 14:25-30)! When Peter chose to believe in the truth he walked on the water and “the fruit” of his choice was having dominion over “the earth”. When Peter chose to “see” the terrifying waves, “the earth” had dominion over him and “the fruit” of his choice was fear and as he sank he cried out, "Lord, save me!"
Man’s “free will” is in his ability to “choose” what he will “believe”. Once man chooses what he “will” believe, his destiny is established based on his own “belief”. There are only two choices man can make: “The Spirit of Truth” or “the spirit of falsehood” (1 Jn 4:6). These two choices are all there is, either something is true or it is not, there is no middle ground here. All middle ground, grey areas are deception… something cannot be almost true or slightly false. All justification is to maintain these levels as true… this is madness. Truth is immutable and its ability to maintain itself as such is its power. Therefore truth is “just” and what is “just” stands on its own, it does need to be justified, neither can it be rationalized.
Logic justifies
