The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) of 2011 has unveiled the cool gadgets we can look forward to in the near future. These cool gadgets show off some of the cool things we have to look forward to. Some of them are tied to close release date, others are still in R&D stages and may be 18-24 months before release, but regardless all of the gadgets are extremely cool and buzz-worthy.

♦ Best Car Tech:
Parrot Asteroid Car Receiver. A car stereo with a 3.2 inch colour Screen. It is powered by Android and includes a few USB ports. With these ports it has the capability for 3g wireless, gps and numerous other USB devices to be connected all at once. Bluetooth is standard and they have RDS and AM/FM capabilities. All options can be controlled by voice and you can use, MP3, IPOD, USB, SD card, Bluetooth or Internet radios as options to play music. It even accepts hands-free Android calling.
♦ Large Screen 3-D TV
There is a phrase for Mitsubishi’s new 3D TV: Larger than Life, and it is. Incredible 3-D technology makes all the images incredibly life-like. The amazing 92-inch flat screen TV makes everything larger than everyone except the largest giants. 92 inches for those who are bad at math, is just a shade under eight feet of Television.
♦ Polaroid Camera Sunglasses:
Wrap-around sunglasses that house a digital camera. The newest in digital camera chic.
♦ Best Storage:
The winner of the “best storage Device” for CES 2011 is the Seagate GoFlex 3.0 USB Harddrive. This new hard drive is tops in the ultra-portable storage market, being an amazing 9 millimeters thin, it is about the same size as an iPhone 4. It works on both mac and windows and gives up some space for the ultra-thin and portable design, “only” having 320GB of space.
♦ 3-D Headman Visor:
Video games always lead the way for exciting new technology, this year is no different. Sony unleashed the prototype of their new “Headman Visor” that should have game geeks drooling. You slide the visor over your eyes and are emerged into an interactive 3-D world. The visor projects the video game right onto your eyes. How are we ever going to get the serious gamers out of their mothers' basements now?
