You
You grab hold of my trembling hand, and
Look softly at me through that tender gaze;
Those familiar eyes are looking into mine,
Letting me know you’re here to stay.
Until you, I worried about love’s bitter game,
Thinking it would only lead me to fall;
Then you showed me what true love meant,
You broke down every wall.
You listened to everything I needed,
You cared for me when I was empty;
You tightened your grip on my hand, and
When I fell, you caught me.
A love like yours and mine,
It lasts a lifetime.

Poetry: A lasting love

We are one but we are three
We are you and we are me
We can fly and
To whom it may concern,
You mean the most to me.
I love you more than words can say,
and more than you can see.
I know we've
Let go, Move on
I've thought about all we could be
But everything's in the past why can't I see
I've got to learn to let you

I love you more than roses
Yet, I love them, oh, so much.
I love their sweet perfume-
The petals-soft to my touch.
I love you
