Deciding what you want to do for a living maybe as difficult as figuring out a Rubix Cube, with some many variables to take into consideration it can be a daunting task. Perhaps that's why many people switch jobs and professions along the way because they're still trying to figure out what they actual want to do with their lives.
If given the option between earning a living or designing a life, people will choose the latter 99.9% of the time. Use your internal GPS to find your purpose and you will arrive safely at your living destination. Once you identify your purpose your passion will supply you with the fuel necessary to stay on course. Thomas Edison said he never worked a day in his life, because he enjoyed what he was doing. Edison's passions empowered him to view his 10,000 attempts at the light bulb as lessons along the path to his success. Don't become discouraged along the journey if you find your self at a crossroad, simple take a moment and re-calibrate, make a u-turn or pull over and ask for help.
Our internal navigation system is pretty smart, it will not lead us down a dead end path, Although it may same that we're in a dead end job your GPS system did not lead you to current position-you plugged in the coordinates. So if you feel like in the job, before you make any drastic moves be grateful your employed. Utilize this time to reflect on your next destination.
*Figure out what you enjoy doing
*Identify your strengths
*Check growing industries
*Utilize your local unemployment office as a resource
*Match your skills talents and abilities to the field you're pursuing.
Settling for a job will pay the bills in the short term. But make you miserable in the long run. When the Rubix Cube first came out we would fiddle with it after school in the library for hours, until some found the directions for solving the puzzle-then it only took minutes to figure out. We complicate things as humans, make it simple for yourself identify a mentor and follow their pattern-it will save you time and grief. Following the basic pattern will enable you to uniquely design your life. The key is figuring out the pattern to their life it provide you with option to that will open many mansion for you.
