Keep you eyes open. Look in your local newspapers for auctions. Estate and storage unit auctions are ideal places to find designer handbags. People who own multiple handbags many times do not value them as others do.

Secondly second hand shops, such as Goodwill, get merchandise in every day. If you take your time and weed through the merchandise you'll run across something. I have a quick story for you. A lady I work with, whose family is "well off", cleaned out her closets and sent hardly used Coach and Gucci to Goodwill. I was tempted to go shopping that night.

Check out online auctions such as Ebay. Recently, a Tiffany bracelet was purchased for seventy five dollars. Online auctions do have their downfalls. You are not able to inspect the merchandise, so look for sellers with positive ratings. Secondly, the sellers may or may not post the purse under the brand name. Be patient. Search using general phrases, such as "black purse" or "large handbag," in addition to "Coach Handbags."

This last tip may not be the most honest, but it may be the most profitable. Become friends with sales associates who sells the merchandise you desire. The sales associate probably won't give away the most popular new Prada Handbag, but they may let you know when sales occur. They may also discount your merchandise. If you find a true friend, let them know when your birthday is.

Money does not grow on trees, but bargains sprout every day. Keep your eyes opene and realize that there is no good reason to pay full price.
