Jazz makes me want to fall in love.
When the music sways my body,
I want to fall into a strong embrace.
Somebody will hold onto me –
Tightly
But gently;
Jazz becomes the romance in me.
With every beat,
I will fall in love.
And there appears a man approaching for a touch.
With each rhythm he makes,
I am taking that chance.
Jazz dances in me.
I will let my soul free.
I will fall in love again,
To a man of my very own dream.
Jazz is the kiss that dances on my lips.
For the man I love is the jazz in me.

What does it mean to lose yourself
The acoustic sound of a jazz band
Gives soul to an ordinary song,
Leaving lyrics to interpretation
For the audience tapping
