You still smile in my memories
and I often reach out to touch where you once were
the frosted glass still shows that you are there
but do your eyes still sparkle?
Are your lips still smiling
although you've drawn the blind
to hide the pain?
Is there a quiet yes
failing to escape
because you wrap so well
to keep it safe?
