The heart stumbles,
along its chosen path.
I hear thunder in the sky,
The Gods have unleashed their wrath.
My heart mourns in painful silence,
Caged, restrained, repressed.

In my mind, I shout harsh words at you,
Wishing you could hear.
Misty memories and past echoes,
And everything I hold dear.
Forever gone.

The Gods have unleashed their wrath.
