Poetry: Because of God

Because of God

I can go on after suffering a tragic loss

Faithful is he that hung on the cross

And the fact is, he would have done it just for me.

When I'm in trouble or pain,

he's always there, can't you see.

I opened my heart, and God came in

he filled up all the empty spaces

with love from above

even in those special little places.

He reminds me when I am going down the wrong path,

It doesn't take two to do the math.

He has a  place where we can go,

we choose friend or foe

Choices are left for us to decide

Eternity is forever, and with him I will abide!
