The bell rings and rings
When you start your day
The ritual routine
Takes over
Why do wolves hunt in packs
If they were like us would they survive
Could it be, they know more than us
Check the clock, check the clock
Never be late
It does not matter what you do
Check the clock, check the clock
Always leave on time
If the squirrel monkey's left the trees
Would they don dark suits
Or would grey be their colour
Fast cars, career driven
Media inspired dreams
Selling self, but always selling short
Maybe nature knows better than us
It would not be hard
For we don't know that much
Another alarm clock strikes fear
Another human screams, but the world does not hear
