It doesn't help to ask why
no reason would bring you back
It doesn't help to hate you now
my pain would still be intact
I can't erase, wipe clean the slate
and pretend it never was
I could say 'you'll get what you deserve'
but on one ever does
Tomorrow the sun will rise again
and my pain will swell in my heart
More than one passing day is needed
to find my brand new start
