Poetry: Silent thoughts

by Carol P. Bartlett

Created on: January 04, 2011

Silent thoughts seep into my mind, they seem so stark,

Rampant lies, and untold secrets, why do the silent thoughts creep into the present time.

They were buried way down deep inside the crevices of my mind,

and just like a worm they wiggle to the surface through out the sands of time.

I think back to that hideous moment that I sought to forget.

And for just one small second I trembled with fear,

forgetting that it was just a silent thought that seeped into my mind!
