Love is what makes this world such a wonderful place. Single people always try to get into a relationship and every time they do, they feel like this is the perfect one for them. But most relationships end in failure and only a few of them actually lasts for more than a year. So what exactly go wrong with them?

Among the many reasons why relationships fail, here are some of the most important ones.

1) Lack of Communication

For a good relationship, there must be a good understanding between the partners. And the basis of understanding is the communication. If you are not talking enough, then there’s very little chance you’ll make it through. Sometimes people avoid serious talks and pretend everything to be just fine. On the other hand they start to lie. Both ways, the relationship is destined to be doomed.

2) Cheating

The single most dreaded word in a relationship is ‘cheating’. Once this happens, only a very small number of relationships can actually make it through. Nobody wishes to find out that their significant other is seeing someone else. It may be worse if that person happens to be an old lover. So, unless you want an easy way out of a relationship, don’t even think about cheating!

3) No Longer In Love

“I think I am no longer in love with you!” That’s the last thing you can say in a healthy relationship. Once either of the partners say this, it’s better to go for a break up. Normally things only go bad from this point onwards. There can be many reasons for a person not to feel loving anymore, but that always means that they do not belong together. Breaking up at this point can save a great deal of heart breaks later on.

4) Too Early; Burned Out

Sometimes people jump into relationships all too soon. It is important that you take some time to get to know your partner before making the big step. And whenever people rush in, there’s a great deal of possibility of burning out all too soon. Once you get burned out and feel that you need to slow things down a bit, it’s the relationship that’s going to suffer.

5) Not Trusting Each Other

It is important in a relationship that you trust your partner. Don’t always think that he/she must be having some other affair on your back. Don’t go searching his/her mail or chat records or phone bills. If your partner finds out what you were doing, it’s only going to give him/her a huge heart break. Once somebody feels that their significant
