Little Winter World
A rustic cottage hideaway
Surrounded by tall evergreens.
Aquatic snowflakes slowly drift
And sparkle on a tranquil scene.
A snowman's crooked smile remains
Above a child's red sled glued in,
Beneath a painted reindeer night
Where little stars have always been.
A touch of magic held in glass,
With just one shake it comes alive.
I stare into this little world
Where winter dreams of childhood hide.
