If you love me you wouldn't mind
The set of car keys I couldn't find
You'd simply shake your head and say
She's having a senior moment today
If you love me you wouldn't stew
Because I turned your new shirt blue
You'd simply shake your head and say
That's the way she is today
If you love me you wouldn't fret
Because of the groceries I forgot to get
You'd simply shake your head and say
That you weren't hungry anyway
If you love me you wouldn't pout
Because I left the ice cream out
You'd simply shake your head and say
You didn't want dessert today
If you love me as I think you do
These things wouldn't bother you
You'd simply shake your head and coo
