Poetry: Inside a snowglobe

by Carol Gioia

Created on: January 01, 2011   Last Updated: March 08, 2011

Inside a snow globe,
a miniature town
glistens with beauty
when turned upside down.

A magical wonder,
rendered by shaking,
tiny flecks sparkling,
fantasy in the making.

When the glitter settles,
a shake of the hand
recreates the magical
winter wonderland.

I wish our earth could be
like a snow globe fantasy,
where a shake up, could wake up
a world of wondrous beauty.
