Snow may fall
And icicles may form
Days may pass
And the sun may shine
But the beauty of thus
Is only an illusion
This land, this wondrous land
Where dreams are real
And faith is rewarded
How I wish it were true how I wish it were so
In the midst of all that is light
What now have I found to be so dark?
What truth so cynical, so sinister
To be spoken of as such?
What truths does this illusion seek to hide?
What hides behind this wondrous winter wonderland?
Where are the answers to the questions I speak of?
If this all is fake, then is anything real?
Oh, snow may fall
And icicles may form
Days may pass
And the sun may shine
But what truly lies beneath it all
May never be known

Poetry: Winter wonderland
The mock sun silently chuckles
In this frigid land of white,
My dog-team valiantly struggles
Pulling with all their
Ice cold winds and showers of rain
Fill the streets of every avenue and lane.
Fire burning inside the house
A cozy atmosphere
Winter Wonderland
Hard, brisk snow blows in with a frosty wind
carpeting the ground with plush white beauty.
Who can tell
by Carol Gioia
Landscape airbrushed pristine white,
not a living thing in sight.
Silence permeates the air,
purity glistens everywhere.
Icicles
Transformed into a paradise, a winter wonderland.
From the day before, when all was normal and so bland.
A winter storm
