Created on: December 30, 2010

The Tennessee Titans franchise, formerly the Houston Oilers and Tennessee Oilers, have been around since 1960. The Tennessee Titans' all-time passing yards leaders include two Hall of Famers from their Houston days and current Titans' quarterback Vince Young.

Warren Moon: 33,685 yards

The Tennessee Titans' all-time passing yards leader is recently inducted Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon. One of the most prolific passers in NFL history, Moon ranks fifth in NFL history with 49,325 passing yards. As the then Oilers' starter from 1984 to 1993, Moon averaged 238.9 yards per game with a franchise record 196 touchdown throws. He owns the five highest yardage seasons in Titans' history including his career-high 4,690 passing yards in 1991. The nine-time Pro Bowl QB twice led the NFL in passing yards in 1990 and 1991 while also leading the league with 33 touchdowns in 1990.

Steve McNair: 27,141 yards

The late three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Steve McNair finished second on the Tennessee Titans' all-time passing yards leaders list. McNair was one of football's most talented all-around players in his prime, leading the Titans to their first Super Bowl appearance in 1999 and winning the 2003 NFL MVP Award. With McNair at the helm, the Oilers/Titans posted a 76-55 win-loss record from 1995 to 2005. He threw for more than 3,000 yards six times while rushing for more than 300 an additional six times. McNair tossed 156 touchdown passes during his tenure and his 36 rushing touchdowns also rank in the Titans' all-time top five. He threw for a total of 31,304 passing yards in the NFL.

George Blanda: 19,149 yards

Hall of Fame QB and kicker George Blanda ranks third among the Tennessee Titans' all-time passing yards leaders. Blanda played more seasons than anyone in NFL history and he is one of only seven players with more than 300 games played. He joined the Oilers in 1960 and spent his greatest seasons with them. Blanda earned three of his four Pro Bowl selections and his 1961 AFL MVP Award with the Oilers. He led the league in passing yards in 1961 and 1963 and he totaled 26,920 yards and 236 touchdowns in the air in his 26-year NFL career. On top of his brilliant work as a passer, Blanda kicked 335 field goals and an NFL record 943 extra points.

Dan Pastorini: 16,864 yards

Former Pro Bowl quarterback Dan Pastorini started for the then Houston Oilers throughout the 1970s and remains one of the Tennessee Titans' all-time passing yards leaders. As their first round pick in 1971, Pastorini immediately stepped into the starting job and averaged 134.9 passing yards per game through 1979. He twice led the Oilers to the AFC Championship game while throwing for more than 2,000 yards three times.

Vince Young: 8,098 yards

Current Titans' quarterback and two-time Pro Bowler Vince Young is up to fifth on the list of Tennessee Titans' all-time passing yards leaders. The Titans grabbed Young with the third pick of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has been the team's primary starter for most of the last five seasons, averaging 150.0 passing yards per game with a 75.7 QB rating. A great deal of Young's value is in his scrambling abilities and he is averaging 25.6 rushing yards per game with 12 TDs on the ground through 54 games and 39 starts.
