My daughter was 16 months old when we found out that she had asthma. She was breast fed up to age 9 months(they say this helps your child not to have asthma)She was NEVER around anyone smoking, myself and her father dont have asthma but... the poor baby got it.Now that she is 6 years old it holds her back when she plays sports. She always has to sit and take a break. She has cold induced asthma so starting around October to about May she frequently gets this cough where she cant even catch her breath. If she gets a cold then it is all over she cant sleep at night because the cough keeps her up all night. She had to have her first nebulizer treatment this December after Christmas. She was out of school for a week getting better.I feed bad that my child has to put up with this. I can only hope that she will grow out of it.
